Osage County Fire Crews Monitor Hotspots As Flare-Ups Continue

Firefighters continue to tackle hotspots in Osage County as high winds sweep through the area. The evacuation order has now been lifted.

Firefighters are still battling flames in parts of Osage County on Wednesday morning.

Crews from the Hominy Fire Department are working to contain the flames and prevent further spread near County Road 5005.

There is currently no immediate threat to nearby homes.

High winds have caused flare-ups throughout the morning, which crews have been tackling.

The evacuation order has been lifted, and teams are monitoring and extinguishing any remaining flames, working around the clock to keep the fire under control.

A Red Cross shelter has been set up at the Osage County Fairgrounds.
