A new Chick-fil-A is coming to the corner of 13th Street and Utica Avenue in Tulsa. While some are excited, others are concerned about traffic.
The owner, David Chen, believes the restaurant will be a great addition to the area. Chen has owned the Chick-fil-A at the Southroads Shopping Center on 41st Street for 9 years.
Chen says the goal at this location is to serve team members, guests, and the community while also giving back to the area.
He has this message for those who are concerned about the added traffic the popular restaurant might bring.
"I think Chick-fil-A always goes in and tries to design and create the best layout for traffic flow to make sure that we're not impacting the local communities and side streets and main roads," Chen said. "Once people get onto our property, it's our job to execute to make sure that we're serving those customers as quickly as we can, but also making sure they don't feel rushed."
The restaurant is slated to open in the spring of 2025.
