Driver Hospitalized After Crash On Turner Turnpike

One person was hospitalized Thursday morning after a crash on the Turner Turnpike, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

OHP said a semitruck was pulled over in the eastbound lanes on the side of the roadway when a second vehicle wrecked into it.

The second vehicle was embedded into the semitruck, OHP says, and the driver was trapped inside.

OHP said the driver was eventually extricated from the vehicle and taken to a local hospital.
