Man Killed, Woman Injured In Motorcycle Crash Near Owasso

A motorcycle rider is dead and his passenger is hospitalized after troopers said his tire blew out on U.S. 169 Saturday night.

Troopers said it happened around 7 p.m. near 56th Street North.

OHP said Harold Butler, 60, was driving when his rear tire blew and he lost control and crashed on the highway.

Butler died on the scene and his passenger had several injuries and was hospitalized.

Troopers said they were not wearing helmets.
