OHP Releases Video Of Semi Crash On I-40 In El Reno

OHP shared video of a crashing involving two semis in El Reno on Monday, hoping it serves as a reminder to drivers to keep their full attention on the road.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol released a dashcam video of a crash involving two semis on Monday in Canadian County.

"This is a very graphic reminder to give your full attention to the road while driving," OHP shared online.

The trooper's dashcam video from about 2:15 p.m. on Jan. 6 showed a semi that was driving on I-40 near Country Club Road veer right and crash into the back of another semi parked in the shoulder.

Debris went all over the road and a nearby vehicle and the trooper were able to pull over and avoid the crash.

Could have been deadly but amazingly, there were no injuries," OHP said.

The semi-driver told OHP he was reaching for his water bottle before the crash.
