Heavy smoke reported at OU Health complex in OKC

Heavy smoke was reported at the OU Health Medical Center Friday morning in northeast Oklahoma City, according to authorities.

The Oklahoma City Fire Department said firefighters arrived at the scene near Stanton L. Young Boulevard and Children's Avenue shortly before 9 a.m.

After arriving on the scene, OKCFD said firefighters determined the cause of the smoke to be an issue with a nearby HVAC unit that overheated.

Firefighters worked to clear the smoke and later left the scene.

There were no injuries.
