Rose State College will host a Career Support event on Monday, March 10, offering resume assistance, interview coaching and job search strategies for anyone impacted by recent government layoffs.

The career fair will take place at the Jeanie Webb Student Union FNB Community Bank Ballroom from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event was organized by the Rose State Office of Career Development and is designed to help participants enhance their career prospects and navigate their next professional steps with confidence.

“As we all know, many Oklahomans from several industries have been displaced in recent months,” Rose State College Career Development Director Travis Lightsey Jr. said. “Whether you have been impacted by recent federal layoffs, the private sector or are re-entering the workforce, we are pleased to provide workforce services to prepare you for your career search.”

Attendees will have access to personalized coaching, resume reviews, interview preparation and targeted job search strategies. The event is meant to equip those looking for jobs with the tools and confidence needed to secure new opportunities.

“We understand that career transitions can be challenging, especially under unforeseen circumstances,” said Dr. Whitney Alvis, dean of workforce development. “Our dedicated team is here to support you every step of the way, providing expert guidance and strategies to help you move forward.”
