A jury trial is set to begin Monday for a man charged in a fatal shooting at a southeast Oklahoma City motel in 2022.
Court documents say Jarrett Johnson has been charged with killing 51-year-old Samuel Grisby at a motel near I-35 Service Road and Southeast 29th Street.
According to court records, security footage shows Johnson and another suspect, Carion Lenox, drive up to the motel and receive a room key from the lobby.

Grisby was later seen knocking on the door of the motel room Johnson was inside of.
When Johnson opened the door, police say the man fired shots at the victim and immediately left following the shooting.
Johnson faces first-degree murder charges. His trial begins at 8:30 a.m.
