Former Oklahoma basketball star and current Atlanta Hawks player Trae Young is giving back to his hometown community by providing free tickets for Norman youth to attend an upcoming Oklahoma women's basketball game.

The Sooners are set to face Florida Gulf Coast in the first round of the NCAA tournament at the Lloyd Noble Center on Saturday at 1:30.

The tickets, courtesy of Young, are available for pickup at the Young Family Athletic Center in Norman.

Oklahoma Women's Basketball expressed gratitude for Young’s generosity on social media, posting,

“A HUGE thank you to @TheTraeYoung for buying tickets for youth in Norman! Stop by the Young Family Athletic Center to claim your 🆓 tickets‼️”

Young, who starred for the Sooners before becoming an NBA All-Star, has remained connected to his Oklahoma roots, frequently supporting local initiatives and youth programs.

Fans interested in claiming the free tickets can visit the Young Family Athletic Center while supplies last.
