The team now prepares for its second-round matchup on Monday. The Sooners' next opponent are the 2024 tournament runners-up, the Iowa Hawkeyes.
The Hawkeyes, also the alma mater of Sooners head coach Jennie Baranczyk, still prove to be a formidable opponent one year removed from the Caitlin Clark era.
OU said thanks to a donation, all OU students can enter Monday's game for free. All students need to do is bring a student ID and enter through the Lloyd Noble Center's north entrance.
The Sooners-Hawkeyes matchup tips off at 3 p.m. on ESPN.
