MAPS 4 Latest Bike Lanes

  1. NW 16th St. from Lake Overholser Trail to N. Tulsa Ave.
  2. NW 19th St. to NW 18th St. and Indiana Ave.

Bike Laws

  1. Cyclists are allowed to get out of bike lanes. It is necessary if they need a travel lane in a different direction, such as making a left turn.
  2. Bicycles are allowed to roll through stop signs. It is a state law that allows cyclists not to have to completely stop, but to treat it as a yield sign.
  3. If there is no opposing traffic, they are able to go through.
  4. The latest project on May Avenue and 19th is expected to begin construction in the next couple of months and reach completion by the end of the summer.
