A person is dead after being hit by a semi truck near westbound Interstate 40 just west of Council Road, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
OHP says all lanes of traffic are shut down, but traffic can pass on the inside and outside shoulders.
Drivers are asked to avoid this area while OHP investigates.
