Edmond North High School will move to remote learning on Thursday due to a power outage.

According to EPS, Edmond North High School is facing a loss of power due to downed power lines.

The district says it is working with Edmond Electric to establish how long the outage could last.

EPS also says there are road closures in the area, and traffic is being rerouted.

"We will have updates as soon as possible," EPS Superintendent Dr. Angela Grunewald said in a statement released by the district. "Thank you for your patience and understanding."

Edmond Electric says the power line was downed by wind.
