Oklahoma City chef to compete in Food Network's 24-hour competition

Oklahoma City chef Kevin Lee will be featured as a competitor on Food Network for the return of 24 in 24: Last Chef Standing.

Oklahoma City chef Kevin Lee will showcase his culinary talents on the national tv show 24 in 24: Last Chef Standing on Food Network. Lee will be a competitor on season two which premieres this Sunday, April 27, at 7 p.m. The show will stream the next day on MAX. 

Who is Kevin Lee?

Lee is the owner of Birdies, a Korean steakhouse at NW 150th and Penn in Oklahoma City. He grew up in Norman, Oklahoma, and is skilled in French, Italian and Asian cuisine. He told us how he accidentally got into cooking in our Flavor of Oklahoma segment.

Lee is also preparing for a new business venture in the old Drake’s seafood location on NW 23rd Street. No details have been released yet.

How does the show work?

24 in 24: Last Chef is shot in real time. There are 24 chefs who compete in 24 challenges over the course of 24 straight hours. The last chef standing wins $75,000.
