OKCFD completes rollout of supplemental ambulances

The Oklahoma City Fire Department says all four of their supplemental ambulances are now in service.

The department says Medic 6 went into service on Tuesday, completing the rollout which started back in June last year.

These vehicles offer additional support, but EMSA remains the city's primary emergency transport agency.

According to OKCFD, paramedics can respond to medical calls to emergencies.
