A truck fell 30 feet off a bridge into a creek during a crash in Okmulgee County on Wednesday, authorities say.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the driver sustained serious injuries but was alert at the scene. The Okmulgee Fire Department responded to help extricate the driver, who has not yet been named.

The driver admitted to authorities he has used meth earlier in the day and that he looked down at his phone right before the crash.

Charges, if any, will be filed Okmulgee County District Attorney's Office.
