Thousands of runners will take to the streets Sunday morning for the 25th annual Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon. The event honors the 168 lives lost in the 1995 bombing and celebrates the resilience of the city and its people.
Here’s what to expect throughout race day on Sunday, April 27:
Gear Check – 5 to 6:30 a.m.
Clear bags provided at registration are the only bags accepted. Drop off bags at FedEx trucks parked at 6th & Hudson or 6th & Robinson. Following the race, pick up bags near the stage at Scissortail Park (Robinson & OKC Boulevard) until 1:30 p.m. Sponsored by Visit OKC.
Sunrise Service – 5:30 a.m.
Gather under the Survivor Tree for a peaceful moment before heading to the starting corrals.
Free Pancake Breakfast – 5:30 to 9 a.m.
Friends and family can enjoy breakfast at First Church OKC (5th & Robinson) while watching News 9’s live race coverage before heading to the Finish Line Festival.
All races begin on Harvey Avenue in front of the Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum. Corrals close at 6:20 a.m. Anyone without a race bib will not be allowed to enter the start line area. No pets are permitted, with the exception of pre-approved service animals.
Welcome & Introductions – 6:00 a.m.
Wheelchair Division Start – 6:25 a.m.
Marathon Start – 6:30 a.m.
Half Marathon Start – 6:30 a.m.
Quarter Marathon Start – 6:30 a.m.
5K Start – 7:30 a.m.
Presented by Continental Resources at Scissortail Park. Celebrate your finish with music from Take Cover, food trucks, games, and refreshments. Enjoy free treats from Boom Town Creamery and a complimentary beer from Lively Beerworks or Eight. MarathonFoto photographers will be on hand to capture your finisher moment.
Located at 620 N. Harvey Ave. Admission is free with a race bib or registration confirmation.
