Residents cleaning up after recent storms in Bartlesville now have an extra week to drop off tree debris, thanks to an extension announced by city officials.

The debris site was set up to assist those affected by severe weather and will remain open through Friday, June 6.

Here are the key things to know:

1. Hours:

The City of Bartlesville’s disposal site for storm debris will continue operating from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

2. Location:

The site is on City-owned property on West Highway 60, directly east of the Green Country Rodeo Arena.

3. Only tree debris is accepted

The site is only for tree limbs, brush and vegetation damaged during the storms. No other materials are permitted.

4. Home pickup option is available

Residents who can’t reach the site can use the City’s yard waste pickup program. Limbs must be bundled in 4-foot lengths and weigh no more than 50 pounds. Attach green yard waste stickers to each bundle.

5. Yard waste stickers available locally

Stickers are sold at QuikTrip locations in Bartlesville and at City Hall, located at 401 S. Johnstone Ave. Bundles with stickers will be picked up on regular trash days.

For more information on yard waste services, visit the city’s Sanitation FAQ page.
