Folks are remembering Okmulgee County District Attorney Rob Barris. Barris, who served in the DA's office for District 25, which includes Okmulgee and McIntosh counties for more 30 years, had been the DA for the past eight years.
A strong southwest flow will bring pockets of rain and thunderstorms across eastern Oklahoma for the next 48 to 60 hours, including the threats of heavy rainfall that may lead to flooding issues for some locations, and the possibility of severe storms near or slightly west of the metro region.
Burn bans are in effect for multiple Oklahoma counties including seven in eastern Oklahoma. Those seven counties include Creek, McIntosh, Muskogee, Okmulgee, Rogers, Tulsa and Wagoner.
