The cut off date for workers in seven Oklahoma counties to apply for disaster unemployment assistance is Wednesday, July 15.
Workers in McIntosh and Wagoner counties in eastern Oklahoma who lost work or earnings due to severe storms from May 5 through June 4 should contact the OESC Unemployment Insurance Service Center at 800-555-1554.
The five other counties are Beckham, Caddo, Canadian, Marshall and Seminole.
The Oklahoma Employment Security Commission says in order to receive benefits, individuals must provide documentation indicating an employment record at the time of the disaster or verification of the weeks the applicant was scheduled to work.
