Crews Extinguish Apartment Fire In Oklahoma City

A fire at an Oklahoma City apartment complex destroyed one unit and damaged three others Sunday afternoon.

Crews responded to the fire just after 12 p.m. Sunday at the Whitby Courts Apartments, located at 7500 Knight Lake Drive in Oklahoma City. Firefighters say they saw heavy smoke and fire coming from the back of the units as they arrived.

Everyone in the area was evacuated. According to fire officials, crews were able to get the fire out before it spread to the four remaining units.

No one was injured in the fire. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
