A man is dead and several others are hurt, including three young girls, after authorities said a road rage incident led to a crash in Creek County on Friday.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said it happened around 8:30 p.m. on State Highway 48 and Cramer Road near Mannford.

The OHP report doesn’t share what happened leading up to the crash but says it was between a Jeep driven by a man with a male passenger and an SUV driven by a woman with four young girl passengers.

The driver of the Jeep, 37-year-old Adam Stephenson, was pronounced dead at the scene and the male passenger was taken to a hospital.

The OHP said the men were not wearing their seatbelts.

Troopers say two 13-year-old girls and the 12-year-old girl were taken to the hospital, but have since been released.

Troopers say everyone in the SUV was wearing a seat belt.

OHP says it is still investigating.
