Grand Jury Impaneled To Investigate Corruption In Owasso City Hall

A district court judge Friday approved a petition to impanel a grand jury investigation into former Owasso City Manager Rodney Ray and members of the city council.

A group of citizens delivered the petition on September 10. The Tulsa County Court Clerk and election board verified the 8,022 signatures.

The petition alleges election law violations and destruction of public records, among other things.

A grand jury will convene in a Tulsa County courtroom on October 17, 2013, to hear those claims, which could lead to indictments.
