For the first time in program history, Oklahoma State will host an NCAA Super Regional at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium. The Cowboys will open play against UC Irvine Friday night in the best-of-three series with a berth at the College World Series on the line.
Friday's Stillwater Super Regional opener is set for 8:30 p.m., with Saturday's contest scheduled for 9 p.m. Sunday's if-necessary game would be at 8 p.m. All three games will be televised by ESPNU.
OSU is 48-16 on the season and won last weekend's NCAA Stillwater Regional as the tourney's top seed, the Cowboys' first Regional title since 2007. Coach Josh Holliday's ballclub is looking for the program's first trip to the College World Series since 1999.
Third-seeded UC Irvine upset No. 1 national seed Oregon State in the NCAA Corvallis Regional and brings a 38-23 record to Stillwater.
