The Oklahoma City Police Department have identified two victims of a deadly shooting Sunday morning in northeast Oklahoma City.
Police said around 12:45 a.m. two suspects kicked in the door of a home located in the 1500 block of NE 25th St. and started shooting.
Multiple people were inside the residence at the time but only two were shot, according to authorities. One man, identified as 46-year-old Marcus Dewayne Huddleston, died at the scene. The second victim, identified as 54-year-old Yolanda Combs, was taken to OU Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Combs remembers Huddleston as a loving husband. She said she has no idea who the suspects were or why they would do this.
"You took something from me that I really loved. I've been with this man eight years. You should not have shot me like this. I'm going to miss this man for the rest of my life," Combs said.
The suspects fled the scene.
Authorities said the motive for the attack is unclear at this time.
This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Homicide Tip-Line at 405-297-1200.
"If you can please turn them in so that I can get justice for my husband and for me, because I can barely walk or anything right now," Combs said.
