Driver Caught After Police Chase In NW OKC

One person has been detained after a police chase Friday morning in northwest Oklahoma City. 

The chase ended near Lyrewood Lane when the driver of a black Dodge Charger ran away from the vehicle. 

Police searched wooded areas near a pond in neighborhood. 

A short time later, the driver was found and taken into custody.

Police have not released the name or the reason why the chase started.
