Driver of pickup dies in rear-end collision near Sapulpa on Highway 33

Authorities are investigating a fatal crash near Highway 33 and South 193rd West Avenue west of Sapulpa.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, two vehicles were traveling southbound on the highway when a Chevy Tahoe attempted to turn left onto 193rd West Avenue. A pickup truck, driven by 47-year-old Johnny Harn, then rear-ended the Tahoe.

Troopers said Harn was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Tahoe was taken to a hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
