Norman Police: Child Drowned Wednesday In Community Pool

A 3-year-old boy drowned Wednesday evening in a Norman community pool, police said.

Police were called about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday near NW 36 Street and Tecumseh Road. 

The child had gotten into the community pool and was taken to hospital where he died.

Police said they do not think foul play was involved.
