With thousands across the state preparing to hit the road for the Thanksgiving holiday, lots of eyes are on gas prices.
Gas prices in the Oklahoma City area have dropped more than 7 cents a gallon this week alone.
Compare that to the national average, that's fallen 2.6 cents per gallon in the last week to $2.54 per gallon.
And compare that to Tulsa, that's down 4.9 cents per gallon compared to last week.
According to Gas Buddy, prices in Oklahoma City are 39.7 cents per gallon higher than they were this time last year.
The average price of gas right now in Oklahoma City sits at $2.19 per gallon.
