Bethany Man Found Safe After Silver Alert

Bethany Police issued a Silver Alert for a 76-year-old Jose Medrano.

Medrano has been missing since Friday afternoon. Police say he is on foot, possibly headed for Waco, Texas.

Medrano was last seen just east of Southern Nazarene University, wearing a tan jacket over a red jacket over a white shirt, navy pants, and black boots.

He has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder with early signs of dementia.

UPDATE: Medrano was located around 9 p.m. and is safe.
