One person was found on fire Monday near downtown Oklahoma City, firefighters said.
The report was called in by people driving past the I-40 underpass near Virginia and Lindley. Firefighters say the man was likely homeless and sleeping under the bridge but they aren't sure yet how he caught fire.
When emergency responders arrived, they found a man with the lower part of his body on fire. He is now being treated at at the hospital for serious burns.
Oklahoma City Fire Battalion Chief Tommy Iago told News 9, "Right now, it just appears clothes caught on fire. We have not found any type of accelerant or anything like that up there but it appears maybe his sleeping bag and his clothes were what was caught on fire."
The fire is still under investigation but authorities are treating this as an accident.
