Zach Sinor Named Ray Guy Award Semifinalist

Oklahoma State punter Zach Sinor is among 10 semifinalists for the Ray Guy Award, the Augusta Sports Council announced Friday.

Sinor is averaging 43.0 yards per punt this season. The sophomore has helped OSU hold opponents to just 2.25 yards per punt return, the ninth-best mark in the nation.

Sinor has shown a knack for pinning opponents inside the 20-yard line as well as flipping field position in the Cowboys’ favor. Out of 43 punts, 24 have been downed inside the opponent’s 20-yard line.

Sinor and Oklahoma State take on TCU in Fort Worth on Saturday.
