Buck Bursts Through Stillwater Store Window

People come to American Eagle Outfitters in Stillwater to save a few bucks. One buck was just trying to save himself. 

A witness recorded a deer jumping out of a window at the story. Another witness, Justin Kimmell, saw the whole thing. 

"As soon as I walked out, I walked in front of their front doors and it came out of the second one and hit the railing,” Kimmell said. “And of course, I just took off running the other way."

He high tailed it away from the white tail. The buck apparently busted in through one window, ran around the store for a while then busted through a second window and hoofed it on out of there.

We don’t know why.  Maybe he just wanted some excitement. You could say he was in a rut. Maybe he did it just for fun; or in this case just for *fawn*. Or maybe he was just bucking the system. Shoppers say this is the last place they’d expect to see a deer.

"No, absolutely not. Not at all not in downtown Stillwater," shopper Terri Valeza said.

Employees had to buck up and clean the mess the deer made today.

News 9 reached out to American Eagle Outfitters for a comment and no one responded.  Apparently the buck stops with them.
