Griffin Communications and the Oklahoma City Blue, the Oklahoma City Thunder Development League team, have reached an agreement for Griffin to broadcast 23 Blue home games live on KSBI during the 2016-17 season.
“We are excited to be able to bring the Oklahoma City Blue to our viewers across the state on KSBI, beginning with the home opener on Nov. 11,” said David Griffin, Griffin Communications chairman and CEO. “This agreement will let our viewers see some high-quality local sports programming and catch the action of some great up-and-coming NBA stars.”
"We are thrilled that basketball fans in Oklahoma will have the opportunity to watch the Blue on KSBI," said Jim Brylewski, director of development team business operations for the Thunder. "The Blue is a vital part of the Thunder organization, focusing on development of players, coaches and staff, and we are excited with the additional exposure this will bring to the team."
KSBI can be found on channel 52 using an antenna, on Dish Network and DirecTV and on Cox Cable channel 707.
The Blue will host 23 home games at the Cox Convention Center, as well as one matchup across the street at Chesapeake Energy Arena. On March 8, the Blue will face the Long Island Nets in an 11 a.m. Field Trip Day game on the Thunder home floor. That game also will be broadcast live on KSBI.
