CCOSA Executive Director Steven Crawford turned himself in at the Oklahoma County Jail Monday following conspiracy charges related to Joy Hofmeister 's campaign for State School Superintendent.
Crawford is charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit felony. He is accused alongside Hofmeister and three others for conspiring to create a super PAC to run negative campaign advertisements against Janet Barresi.

Court documents stated Crawford and four others, including Hofmeister, conceived an idea for an Independent Expenditure aimed at pooling resources and funding to defeat Barresi.
Crawford posted a $4,000 bond.
