The Thunder is finalizing contract extensions for Victor Oladipo and Steven Adams on Monday, per Yahoo!’s The Vertical. The team is commiting $184 million to the pair over the next four years.
Adams will get $100 million for the next four seasons. It’ll be a nice pay raise from the $3.1 million he’ll make this year. Adams is averaging 13.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game.
Oladipo gets $84 million for four years, up from a $6.5 million salary this year. The Thunder’s second-leading scorer at 17.0 per game, Oladipo is still finding his fit within the offense but has shown enough for General Manager Sam Presti to sign him long-term.
The quartet of Russell Westbrook, Adams, Oladipo and Enes Kanter will command approximately $92,183,575 between them in 2017-18. For comparison, the NBA’s salary cap for this season is $94,143,000 with the luxury tax limit at $113,287,000.
UPDATE Monday 11:02 p.m. - The Thunder officially announced the signings of Steven Adams and Victor Oladipo to multi-year extensions. The length and finances of the deals were not officially disclosed.
