Teenager Hit By Car Near Tecumseh Middle School

Emergency crews are on the scene of an auto-pedestrian crash in Tecumseh, Oklahoma, Wednesday morning.

Authorities confirmed with News 9 that the crash happened at about 7:20 a.m. near Tecumseh Middle School near Highway 9. A 15-year-old high school student was in the crosswalk when he was hit by a 2014 Dodge Avenger. The car was going eastbound on Walnut at the time. 

Authorities said the boy was almost to the sidewalk when he was hit.

The boy has taken to OU Children's Hospital in Oklahoma City, for treatment. His condition is unclear at this time. 

Police have not identified the boy or the driver involved.
