Thunder Waive McGary, Three Others

The Thunder waived four players on Monday: Mitch McGary, Chris Wright, Ronnie Price and Kaleb Tarczewski.

McGary is the biggest name, but not the biggest surprise, to be cut. The third-year forward averaged 4.4 points and 3.5 rebounds in 52 games the past two years.

For now, Mitch McGary is hoping to resume career in China or Europe, sources tell @TheVertical. Wherever he plays, he has issues to resolve.

Price was in a battle for the backup point guard spot with Semaj Christon. Wright and Tarczewski appeared sparingly during the preseason.
