Body Of 19-Year-Old Woman Found In Apartment Near UCO

Police are investigating after a woman's body was found in an apartment near the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond.

The body of a 19-year-old woman was found at the Duke apartment complex in the 900 block of E. Wayne Ave., just to the east of Wantland Stadium, Wednesday afternoon.

According to Edmond Police, an apartment employee found the body. No details about the person’s identity or condition have been released at this time.

Police tell News 9 they are working the case as an “unattended death” and that the victim was not a UCO student.
