Labor Day may be over but that doesn't mean everyone is already home.
The latest numbers from TripAdvisor show about 14 percent of drivers have extended their holiday and plan to drive home on Tuesday.
That may not seem like a lot but that's in addition to the vast majority of travelers who drove, and the total number of travelers is also up from last year.
Part of the reason for more drivers is lower gas prices.
GasBuddy just announced the average gas price in Oklahoma City is a $1.97 a gallon which is a nearly 10 cent drop from last week.
As a state we are just above $2.00 a gallon.
One GasBuddy analyst said four states average gas under $2.00 per gallon and he expects that number to quadruple to 16 by Halloween.
