Spencer Police Looks To Crowdfunding

With budgets across the state getting tighter and tighter, the Spencer Police Department is utilizing crowdfunding for new gear. 

The officers are asking people to go online and visit their GoFundMe page, looking to raise $30,000 for new ballistic and protective equipment. This equipment includes body armor, plates, helmets, and shields. 

The money donated will be used to equip the department's seven full-time officers.
