It's been five days since the Thunder traded Serge Ibaka to the Orlando Magic for Victor Oladipo, Ersan Ilyasova and the draft rights to Domantas Sabonis, but many were still eager to find out what Kevin Durant thought about the draft-night deal.

While in New York for the announcement of the USA Men's Basketball roster, Durant talked with reporters and finally chimed in with his thoughts on the trade.
"It’s a good move," Durant said. "I like Oladipo. He’s a good buddy, a friend of mine, and I’m definitely going to miss playing with Serge. He contributed so much to our organization and to the city, and he’s a pioneer for what he’s done for us and it’s always going to be remembered in OKC what he’s done for the community and his hard work on the court, so we wish him the best."
It's hard not decipher every word Durant says at this point, seeing he isn't talked too much since the season ended. But Durant's comments about the trade should be somewhat encouraging for Thunder fans who desperately want the superstar to stay in OKC.
