OKC Police Arrest Arson Suspect

Oklahoma City Police arrested a man early Monday morning for suspicion of arson in southeast Oklahoma City.

A woman called OKCPD around 1:40 a.m. to report that her home was on fire. 

The woman who lived in the home was not hurt but did mention that she had gotten into an argument with a neighbor.  It is unclear what the argument was about.

Shortly after the argument she discovered that her home was on fire.

Around 4:00 a.m. a man nearby was arrested. 

The woman will be allowed to remain in her home as the damage from the fire was mainly on the exterior. She is being assisted by the American Red Cross.

Fire crews estimated 10 percent of the home was damaged. 

No injures are known at this time.
