Report Claims Twitter Was Hacked

Millions of Twitter users may want to change their passwords. A new report claims the social media site was hacked.

These new developments come within a week of two high-profile Twitter hacks involving the NFL and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. The website "Leaked Source" claims they've obtained a database containing information, including passwords, belonging to 32 million Twitter users. They believe the hack was the result of malware installed on Internet browsers, rather than a full-out data breach on Twitter itself.

"Leaked Source" also found the most common password used by Twitter users is "123456." So far, Twitter is denying claims that users' accounts were hacked.

Last month, "Leaked Source" first reported 360 million MySpace accounts were hacked and also informed people about LinkedIn's data breach.
