OU Receiver DeDe Westbrook Arrested In Texas

Oklahoma receiver DeDe Westbrook was arrested Monday on charges of criminal trespassing and booked into the Milam County Jail in his hometown Cameron, Texas.

Westbrook transferred to OU from Blinn College a year ago and was named Big 12 Offensive Newcomer of the Year this past season. He had 46 catches for 743 yards and four touchdowns as a junior in 2015 and is expected to take on a larger role in the offense with the graduation of top dog Sterling Shepard.

OU spokesman Mike Houck said, “We are aware of the situation and are addressing it internally.”
