Nicoma Park Police Investigate Fatal Crash

Nicoma Park police on scene of a fatal crash at NE 23rd Street and North Post Road.  

Officers said the crash has shut down NE 23 Street in both directions and drivers are being asked to avoid the area.

Police said a vehicle crashed into two motorcycles. One of the motorcyclists was killed and the other was critically injured and taken to a hospital. 

The driver was arrested after getting into a scuffle with a police officer.

The police officer was taken to a hospital with not life-threatening injuries.

No names have been released.
