Yukon Public Schools To End Year Two Days Ahead Of Schedule

Yukon Public Schools announced that its school year will come to an end sooner than expected.

YPS says that the final day of school will now be Wednesday, May 18, two days earlier than previously scheduled. The move will save the district $22,000 in transportation and utility costs.

Edmond Public Schools announced similar plans in recent weeks because of a reduction in state funding.
