Three women were hospitalized after their car ran off the road and into a ditch just a half mile south of Tonkawa Wednesday night.
According to police, Julie Howard, 38, of Tonkawa, was driving a 2001 Chevy Suburban when she ran through a stop sign and into the ditch. Howard was taken to the Poncy City Hospital, treated and released.
Tristan Wilde, 33, of Stillwater, was transported to OU Medical Center and admitted in stable condition with whole body injuries.
A 14-year-old girl was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa and admitted in stable condition with head and arm injuries.
Police say that no one was wearing a seatbelt and that the cause of the collision was a DUI.
No other vehicles were involved.
