It's officially time for March Madness in Oklahoma as the Sooners have been named a No. 2 seed in the 2016 NCAA men's basketball tournament and will play in Oklahoma City on March 18 for its first round game against Cal State Bakersfield.
Oregon is the No. 1 seed in the west region with Texas A&M at No. 3 followed by Duke, Baylor and Texas at 4, 5 and 6.
Coincidentally, former OU assistant coach Rod Barnes is the head coach at CSU Bakersfield. If OU wins that matchup, the Sooners will play again inside of Chesapeake Energy Arena on March 20 against the winner of Oregon State and VCU.
