The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority is unveiling its plans for a new turnpike in Northeastern Oklahoma County.
The OTA proposal would add 21 miles of toll road, linking I-40 to I-44 in the areas of Jones, Luther and Choctaw.
The state and area municipalities say the new road will spur large-scale economic growth.

OTA Spokesman Jack Damrill said just over 100 homes will be affected by construction and that should be completed by year 2020.
"We have said from the start and we mean it that when we make right of way acquisitions the Turnpike Authority will be very generous in their offers that they provide to these people," said OTA Spokesman Jack Damrill.
